The HID Omnikey 5427 CK (Gen2) Dual Frequency Smart Card Reader is a USB Contactless Reader which is impressively able to support both low and high frequency technology. This reader operates by standard as a CCID Reader, with an optional ‘keyboard wedge' mode. In this mode data can be retrieved and inserted directly into applications or sent to other devices through use of keystroke emulation, as if typed manually.
