MIFARE DUOX is the first MIFARE IC to combine both symmetric & asymmetric cryptography on a single chip, providing enhanced encryption and security while simplifying key management.

MIFARE DUOX utilises AES-256 symmetric and ECC asymmetric cryptography and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), with EAL6+ certification to ensure data security. These encryptions standards and PKI make Mifare DUOX more secure than previous options and more difficult to bypass, clone or hack.

MIFARE DUOX includes an on-chip backup management system and mutual authentication with no limit to the number of applications other than available storage. Each application can hold up to 32 files, with various configurations and settings offering flexibility and convenience, while the automatic anti-tearing mechanism ensures data integrity.

Constructed compliant to ISO standards, these MIFARE DUOX cards are CR80 size (standard credit card size) with a thickness of approximately 820 microns / 0.03” and are finished in a premium gloss, suitable for printing with any standard ID Card Printer.
