So what makes them antimicrobial and how do they work?

A special additive, called Biomaster, is added to these badge holders during the manufacturing process. It's this additive that stops the growth of bacteria, by working in three ways. Firstly, it disrupts the the bacteria cell from growing as it binds to the cell wall. Then the Biomaster ions stop the bacteria cell from producing energy. Finally, the cell's DNA is interrupted by Biomaster's active silver technology which prevents any replication. Due to this unique 3 way process of stopping bacteria growth, Biomaster is more powerful and effective than regular disinfectants and antimicrobial agents.
